We keep your drains flowing.

Roots are the number one cause of sewer line failures and should never be ignored.

Don't make the costly mistake of thinking that a few small roots in your sewer line is no big deal... they are a HUGE deal.

The first thing to understand is that a sewer or drain line should have absolutely no roots - zero, nada, none!  If roots have made it into your sewer pipes, your drain system has already been compromised.

To function properly, sewer pipes should let nothing in and nothing out except what goes down the drains from the home.  Anything else is proof of some type of break or separation in the line.

Roots can be scraped out in the line for a short term fix by a pushing a rotating sewer cable with a cutter head down the line (and we're happy to provide that rooter service if you wish), but that is only a temporary solution to a problem and situation that will only get worse over time.

What happens is that once a root breaks its way into your pipes and finds the gold mine of nutrients and fluids that flow inside, it will get more and more aggressive in shooting out more roots as well as growing thicker each time that they are cut.  This widens the breaks in your pipes and causes ever more stubborn clogs until such time and the pipe is broken apart and completely fails.

It is much more expensive over time to either ignore or fail to fully fix the problem than it is to get your piping fixed sooner rather than later.  There are always options to consider and we understand that our first responsibility is to educate you on all of your options and the benefits of each so that you can make the best decision for you; then we get it done right - fast, clean, and complete.

What are some options to consider if your drains or sewers might have a root problem?

The first step is almost always to at least get the flow to go down if there is a back up in your line caused by roots blocking the drain.  Our Expert Technicians bring the best equipment along with their vast experience to tackle the toughest drain clogs to get the flow to go.

The next step is to discover why the blockage occurred in the first place.  This is critical because drain lines should not back up under normal usage and stoppages are almost certain to reoccur if no additional action is taken.  The best way to discover the cause of a stoppage is to inspect the piping from the inside by inserting a special camera that is on the end of a specially designed optical cable (a sewer camera) through the piping so that you (and your Able Technician) can actually see what's going on inside the system.

With this clear view of the situation, we can provide you with whatever options are available and which may include:
